This is the agreement between you and the person who runs 11:11. It is written to be read once, in a few minutes, and it says what actually happens rather than what a template would say.
11:11 is not a company with a support department. It is one person, and the address above reaches him. He usually answers the same day.
You answer a few questions in your own words. 11:11 writes cards from those answers: a thing you might want, a photograph, and a line saying where in your own words it came from. New cards arrive twice a day, at 11:11 in the morning and 11:11 at night, in your own timezone. You say yes or no to each one, and what you say changes what comes next.
The cards are written by software, using a large language model. They are suggestions about what you might want. They are not advice, financial, medical, legal or otherwise, and nothing on a card has been checked by anyone before it reaches you. Read them the way you would read a suggestion from a friend who has been paying attention.
The product deliberately has no notifications, no streaks, no scores and no progress bars. There is nothing to keep up with. If that ever changes, it will be because it was announced, not because it drifted.
Eleven days free. No payment card is asked for, at any point, to start. After that it is €11.11 a month, and you can stop any month you like.
The price is shown in your own currency at checkout, converted by Stripe at their rate, which includes a conversion fee. Euro, US dollar, pound sterling and Romanian leu are all offered directly at 11.11 and 55.55 respectively, and you can switch to any of them on the payment screen. All prices include any tax that applies to you.
A subscription renews itself every month on the same date until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not cut short the month you have already paid for: you keep everything you paid for until the date it runs to.
The price will not go up on you without being told in advance, by email, with enough notice to cancel first.
Stripe is the merchant of record. That means Stripe, not us, takes the payment, is the seller on the transaction, and is responsible for charging and remitting VAT and sales tax wherever you are. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers. The charge on your statement will show Stripe as the processor.
What we are responsible for is the service itself: writing your cards, keeping your board, and everything else in this document.
Nothing you made is ever deleted. Your cards, your rulings and your words stay exactly where they are and stay readable. What stops is new cards.
That is a deliberate design of the database rather than a promise in a document: an account that lapses is marked as lapsed, and the only thing that changes is that it is no longer dealt to. If you come back later, your board is still yours and picks up where it stopped.
Your answers, your comments and your rulings belong to you. You give us permission to store them and to use them to run the service for you, which includes sending the relevant parts to the model that writes your cards. That permission exists so the product can work and for nothing else.
The cards themselves, the words on them and the photographs, are ours and are licensed to you to use for yourself for as long as you have an account. Read the privacy page for exactly what is stored, where, and who else touches it.
If you join a board with other people, the cards on it and the comments you leave there are visible to everyone in that board. Your own private board is never visible to them, and the shared board's cards are written only from what that board was told, never from your private answers. Anyone in a shared board can leave it. The person who made it can remove somebody, and blocking somebody means neither of you can be put in a board with the other again.
If you do any of these, the account can be suspended or closed. Where it is not something urgent or serious, you will be told first and given a chance to sort it out.
11:11 is run by one person and it is young. It is offered as it is. There is no promise that it will be available every minute, that the cards will suit you, or that it will never lose a day. What there is, is a nightly backup of everything, a restore that has actually been run rather than assumed, and a rule that no change may drop or rewrite anything holding your words.
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you have paid in the twelve months before the problem. If you are a consumer, your rights under the law where you live are not affected by anything in this document.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your settings, or by emailing. You can ask for your account and everything in it to be deleted, and it will be, permanently. Deleting is not the same as cancelling: cancelling keeps your board, deleting removes it and cannot be undone.
We can end this agreement by giving you notice, and if that happens for any reason other than something in the list above, you get back the unused part of what you paid.
If something here changes in a way that matters to you, you will get an email about it before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page changes. Carrying on using 11:11 after that is how you accept it. If you would rather not, cancel, and the unused part of the month comes back.
This agreement is governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protections of the law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in your own country's courts.
The first thing to do is email paul@1111board.com, because most things are a misunderstanding and get fixed the same day. If that does not resolve it, consumers in Romania can go to the ANPC, the national consumer protection authority, at anpc.ro.
